Birthday Void...

Mon Oct 19, 2009, 9:43 AM
Through quite a few series of circumstances of events in my life, I have decided that on my birthday, after all these years or either ignoring or being passive about it, I'm taking the initiative to find who my biological father is. I have no idea what he looks like, I only have a few sketchy details of him and I have a giant void that needs to be filled from a lot of questions that need to be answered. My biological father's name is James Ellick Willis. From the details of what my mother told me, his birthday is on the same month as mine, he used to be able to draw( not as well as me, though) and he used to play the synthesizer. My mother and he attended Evans High in Orlando, FL together. He was a few years older than she was.
Approximately six years ago my mother showed me a letter he wrote to her about him relocating to Connecticut. She received that letter before I was born into this world and kept it for a while. I don't know if I was upset that day but when I questioned my mother about my biological father today she told me I told her to throw that letter away on that day because I knew nothing about this man and he was never there for me. I don't recall ever saying that but if I did, I wish that I didn't. There were no photos, no simple objects of any evidence of him, nothing.
If there is anyone that has any whereabouts and any information regarding Mr. James Ellick Willis, please let me know.

I like your paintings and your pencil sketches are fantastic. I think the tattoos look sort of.........typical, they don't look as original or interesting as your pencil sketches do. I like the use of colour and the lighting in your paintings and it's a shame there arn't any more recent ones. Also you really don't look thirty, you look much younger. Good luck with the injury.

The Cornish drolls are dead each one,
The fairys from their haunts have gone,
There's scarce a witch in all the land,
The world has grown so learned and grand.

Most of the tattoo designs I created were mostly commission requests, plus I was working part time as an apprentice at the time. The requests were typical as well as the environment which led to...typical results. As of now I am involved with a lot of things to the point that recent art is a slow and steady process. Thanks for the comment, I'll take it to consideration.
